Fading tide and her sister, Aspen, were pet rabbits whose outdoor hutch was destroyed in a storm. Finding themselves suddenly freed, they set off to the wild life. Convinced to do so due to curiosity in Fading Tide and a need to experience the world for Aspen. Tide often reels Aspen back in. Both are fast learners, although Tide tends to be the more cautious one of the two.
